The hype is real! The Hypetrain Ummagawd Motor is an Official Rotor Riot product, designed with direct input from Professional Pilot "Ummagawd" Tommy Tibajia.
Designed from the ground up with great attention to detail, these Hypetrain Ummagawd Motors set itself apart from the competition. Inspired by the iconic Rotor Riot logo, the Hypetrain’s three-spoke aluminum bell enhance the elegant silver coated wire wound over the orange stator.
Aesthetic decisions were made to ensure each motor looked its best, but not at the sacrifice of performance. Each motor is tested individually before it leaves the factory. This all but guarantees each motor will look great and perform well.
The Hypetrain Ummagawd v2 is built around a 2306 stator, with single strand windings that give it a KV rating of about 2150 RPM per Volt. Plenty of power and good efficiency! Perfect for 6" props or higher cell lipos. To ensure reliability, high quality silicone wires are used for the motor leads.
The “open bottom” style base allows for considerable weight reduction and improved cooling, and the revolutionary 16x16 mm mounting screw pattern opens up new design possibilities while still maintaining backwards compatibility with legacy frames. Moreover, we wanted it to have a set screw to hold the bell rather than a C-clip, to facilitate motor cleaning and maintenance!
