FETtec SFOC (Simplified field-oriented control) is an innovative approach to controlling brushless three-phase motors. It enhances efficiency, lowers current and torque ripple, and improves response times. With FETtec SFOC, users can experience up to a 13% increase in efficiency and up to a 30% boost in acceleration, alongside other benefits such as stronger sensorless motor startups, reduced noise, and smoother motor operation.

Recommendation:
  • Generally, we recommend using the provided capacitor and a FETtec Spike Absorber (when used with up to 6S).
  • When using an 8S setup, an appropriate flight controller or FC must be used, and an additional BEC may be required.
